We are looking to recruit a Business Admin Apprentice!
This is an exciting opportunity to join a local, independent & forward-thinking business as a Business Administrator. Working as part of the company’s support team you will gain experience of the many roles that contribute to the efficiency of the organisation. The role involves demonstrating strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and adopting a proactive approach to developing skills across various disciplines.

POSITION: Yard/Warehouse Assistant
The position involves:
Serving trade and retail customers in a busy yard
Replenishing stock locations
Keeping stock locations clean, tidy, well-maintained and safe
Checking/putting away stock deliveries from suppliers
Unloading Deliveries/checking paperwork-Loading customer vehicles and checking paperwork
Operating fork lift/loading shovel
Understanding and observing health and safety requirements at all times
What we are looking for:
Applicants must be reliable, conscientious, enthusiastic and self-motivated and have the ability to represent the company in a professional, polite and positive manner at all times. The successful candidate must also be able to deliver an excellent level of customer service.
Previous experience of working at a yard in a builder’s merchant or similar environment would be an advantage but is not essential as training will be given in all aspects of the job including the operation of the fork lift truck and loading shovel. This job includes a significant level of physical work.
